Monitoring of photo-voltaic units for everyone

New anton control multifunctional yield control device
Havelland-Wind GmbH alongside their Czech partners ILV s.r.o. presented the latest product based on their successful cooperation at a press conference in Prague on 1^st October. A large number of both Czech and German participants were present from the worlds of business, politics and also economic support agencies.

On this day the newly developed anton control photo-voltaic control system was presented to the general public for the first time. The specialists present were taken with the appearance and functionality of the new device.

Operating photo-voltaic units better with additional control systems
(MP) Photovoltaic units are high-value assets which in most cases can be paid for through the legal compensation for electricity fed into the grid and which can also produce significant returns. The profitability of the financial concept depends however to a large extent on the high functional safety of the solar power units. In technical terms solar power generation units are very robust and have a long economic lifetime. However errors can always infiltrate the system and changes in the environment around the units can have a yield-reducing effect. Here quickly recognizing the loss in yield and narrowing down the possible sources of error are very important in terms of solving the problem quickly.
 
In order to identify the changed parameters quickly there are various technical systems and packages used in practice. But according to the specialist journal Photon in July 2008 yield control systems for photo-voltaic units are merely on the fringes. The article continues to say that approx. 90 % of German solar power producers operate their units without control systems.
 
But which device is best?
In causal research the journal lists, in addition to the costs of purchase, the limited compatibilty to the various alternating current converters on the market.

In addition the lack of functions and the, in part, difficulty in handling of the control systems on offer are also quoted. The development team at ILV s.r.o. came to a similar conclusion in their market analysis of photo-voltaic units’ function and control systems
 
Working with the solar wholesaler and specialist dealer Havelland-Wind GmbH ILV s.r.o. decided to develop a function monitoring device with a high functional value but also excellent value for money for photo-voltaic units
 
Now there is a modern, high value monitoring device with an integrated multifunctional display of the current values available. The additional measuring and assessment  of the  surrounding and module temperature and current solar radiation enable the device to indicate possible system errors as well as the current values.

anton control – the solution for the future
At the press conference in Prague the PV control system was presented with “anton control” as the product name. anton control is produced by ILV s.r.o. and Havelland-Wind GmbH has taken on the worldwide marketing.
According to the developers the PV control system has the following significant benefits:

monitor values, systems such as anton control can also provide an additional benefit which should not be underestimated. The user can see how many CO₂ kg are saved through the device and how much "clean“ electrical energy has been gained. Thus the device promotes the user’s level of awareness and also motivation to use solar energy more intensively.

At the press conference in Prague at the start of October the official marketing of the CE-certified measurement and display system for PV units branded as "anton control“ started. 

The product will be advertised internationally with the slogan "Your solar unit – your control – anton control“.
